The Coolidge Park Fountain
My latest painting is entitled, "The Coolidge Park Fountain". This park, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is a place my children and I visited on several occasions when they were young. I chose to eliminate the fine details and reproduce an impression of the sweet memories I have of children playing carefree in the cool water on a hot, summer day. My aim to awaken that emotion in the viewer and perhaps transport you back to your own childhood or that of your own children.
