Understanding the Details of a Large Landscape Painting
A thorough and careful study of nature is extremely important when tackling one of these large realistic landscape paintings. In order to understand natural contours and details to guide my hand to accurately representing organic subjects I use additional closeup images. In this case I took pictures of similar trees I found on our property.
