Arts & Culture Alliance National Photo Exhibition

Opening: June 1, 2018 from 5:00 - 9:00 at The Emporium Gallery,100 S Gay St, Knoxville, TN 37902 (Link)

My Two Entries are titled, "When The Flower Blossoms, The Bee Will Awake" and "The Enthusiast "- The Cars of Italy Series. Both photographs are on archival gloss stock and both digital photographs are 21" x 30". The picture of the honey bee hives are Kathy and mine and were taken toward the end of winter. My wife and I have been bee keepers for nearly four years now and the caring of these wonderful and important little creatures are our passion. In fact, many of my images have been used to develop my paintings, and that is a plus. You can see one of those paintings by clicking on this (link).

Dream-Like: The image of the car exhibition was taken at the Frist Museum. This type of art I call "Non-Static Impressionism" - I've blurred the images in order to make each of the elements equally as important - Color, Tone & Composition. In addition, I didn't want the viewer to see any details whatsoever. What I do want to happen is for the viewer to use their imagination and view my collection of work as if climbing into one of these sports cars as if they were in a dream.
