Provence in Nashville
By Eric Buechel
In the heart of Tennessee, where the rivers flow, A whisper of lavender
dances in the glow, Sun-kissed fields of gold, a painter’s delight, Provence finds a home in
the soft, starry night. Rolling hills embrace the sky so wide, With vines that twist like dreams,
they glide, Grapes hang heavy, ripe with the sun, In Nashville’s embrace, the magic's begun.
As dusk drapes its veil on the bustling street, The air fills with music, a warm, sweet retreat,
A hint of rosemary, a splash of the sea, In every corner, a taste of esprit.
At the market, colors burst forth in arrays, Tomatoes and olives, the heart of the days,
Artists and dreamers, they gather and share, In this Nashville haven, creativity’s flair.
Old brick buildings stand, stories untold, Echoes of laughter, of love, and of bold, From the
French countryside to this Southern land, A tapestry woven, hand in hand.
So here in Nashville, where cultures entwine, Provence’s soft spirit in every design,
A melody lingers, weet as a sigh, In the heart of the South, where dreams learn to fly.
