Ode to Oreo Cookies
By Eric Buechel
In shadows of the pantry, a treasure lies, A double-stuffed delight, a sweet surprise.
Two chocolate discs, so rich and round, With creamy filling, blissfully profound.
With every twist, a dance begins, The snap of the cookie, where joy begins. Dunked in
milk, they take a dive, In that frothy ocean, they come alive. From classic black and white to
minty green, Each bite a journey, a taste unseen. Red velvet whispers, pumpkin spice cheer, Every
season brings a flavor near. Gathered 'round the table, laughter and glee, Oreo cookies, a bond,
you see. In lunchboxes and parties, they find their place, A cookie companion, a smile on each
face. So here’s to the Oreo, beloved and true, A simple indulgence, for me and for you. In
every crunch, a memory we make, With each little bite, pure joy we partake.
