Jellyfish: The Clouds of the Ocean
By Eric Buechel
In the depths where the sunlight fades, Drifting softly in silken cascades, Jellyfish dance in a liquid embrace, The clouds of the ocean, a ghostly grace. With tendrils like whispers, they float and they glide, In a world of blue where the secrets abide, Translucent and fleeting, a dream on the tide, They pulse with the rhythm of the ocean's wide. Their bodies like lanterns, aglow in the dark, A ballet of colors, a luminous spark, They drift through the currents, so gentle, so free, The ethereal spirits of the deep, wild sea. Oh, jellyfish, wanderers of brine and of foam, You roam through the waters, your vast, endless home, With each graceful movement, you tell a tale, Of the mysteries hidden where the shadows prevail. So let us remember, as we gaze at the shore, The clouds of the ocean, forever they soar, In the dance of the jellyfish, a beauty profound, In the heart of the sea, where wonders abound.
