The Artist Within Us

By Eric Buechel

In the cradle of laughter, where dreams take flight, every child paints the world in colors so

bright. With crayons of wonder and brushes of glee, they sketch out their visions, wild and

free. Yet time whispers, as shadows creep in, the canvas of childhood begins to grow

thin. With rules and with reason, the colors may fade, and the vibrant imagination starts to

degrade. But deep in the heart, where the spirit still plays, lies the spark of creation, the

light that stays. To nurture that artist, let laughter abound, in the rhythm of life, let creativity

sound. For every brushstroke of joy, every splash of despair, is a testament to living, a

moment to share. So let us remember, as we journey and grow, that the artist within us is

never laid low. With eyes wide with wonder, let us seek and explore, to find art in the

mundane, to open each door. For every child is an artist, a truth we must keep, in the

tapestry of life, let our passions run deep.
