Burying Bottles In The Sand
By Eric Buechel
In twilight's glow where whispers blend, We gather dreams that time won't send,
With hands of hope, we dig the shore, Burying bottles, secrets galore. Each vessel holds a
tale untold, Of laughter, love, and hearts of gold, We seal them tight, our wishes cast, In grains of time,
the future’s past. The ocean's breath, a gentle sigh, As waves embrace the moonlit sky, We watch the
tides, our thoughts adrift, These glassy dreams, a precious gift. With every wave that breaks and swells,
A story stirs, a memory dwells, In sandy graves, our hopes reside, Bottles of longing, where dreams
abide. So let the currents find their way, To distant shores, where spirits play, For every bottle, a piece
of land, Burying dreams in the soft, warm sand.
