The Dogwood Arts Regional Exhibition 2017, Knoxville Tennessee

I was both surprised and thrilled that my self portrait, a mixed media of watercolor, oil paint, wax and gold leaf won Best in Show. In addition, my painting of my wife (Title Kathy Valentine) was used for the press release and was hung near the front window of the gallery. A very exciting night for all, especially the many talented artists in the event.
