My latest mixed media painting titled "Ascending The Staircase" 2017, 16.75" x 23.5". I used watercolor, ink, Oil paint and wax on Fabriano paper to make this piece.
Ascending The Staircase

With each step, the echoes call,
Whispers of dreams that rise and fall.
Wooden creaks beneath my weight,
A journey woven by fate.
Sunlight streams through the pane,
Illuminating joy and pain.
Each landing holds a tale untold,
Of laughter, love, and moments bold.
As I climb, the world fades away,
Lost in the dance of night and day.
Memories linger like shadows cast,
In the staircase, echoes of the past.
So higher I go, towards the light,
Embracing the climb, with all my might.
For every step, a lesson learned,
In the heart of the staircase, my
spirit burned.
