The Sport Cars of Italy Collection
I'm pleased to introduce the Sports Cars of Italy Series. Prepare for an exciting exploration of the Cars of Italy Collection from an exhibition at the Frist Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, which commenced in late 2016. My longstanding appreciation for exquisite automobiles, particularly iconic European classics, did not initially include the aspiration to own a sports car. My first memorable encounter was with my brother Tom's remarkable Alfa Romeo when I was twelve; he enjoyed driving that charming convertible while I was with friends. It took some time for me to fully appreciate the artistry of these exceptional vehicles, but when the exhibition arrived, I eagerly anticipated experiencing them up close. Rather than merely documenting these magnificent machines, my goal was to capture them in motion, utilizing a vibrant array of images to highlight their essential elements of color, tone, and composition. Welcome to a domain where Non-Static Impressionism is celebrated.
