Black and White Photography

Another way in which I express myself is through the black and white photographic medium. I find the black and white process of photography to be very expressive. More attention is focused on composition and tone wtih black and white rather than in the complexities of color photography. Black and white is not better, just different. It creates an elegance to the subject not found with color photography. As with my paintings, I prefer my images to be in a larger scale format and in a recurring theme. The slide show includes a variety of different themes I've worked on over the past few years. Enjoy!
